COMMON SALT

Sodium chloride commonly known as salt (although sea salt also contains other chemical salts), is an ionic compound with the chemical formula NaCI, representing a 1:1 ratio of sodium and chloride ions. With molar masses of 22.99 and 35.45 g/mol respectively, 100 g of NaCI contains 39.34 g Na and 60.66 g CI. In its edible form, salt (also known as table salt) is commonly used as a condiment and food preservative. Large quantities of sodium chloride are used in many industrial processes. Another major application of sodium chloride is de-icing of roadways in sub-freezing weather.

Application: Industrial salt has a wide range of application, suitable for basic chemical industry, petrochemical industry, printing and dyeing industry and other industries with high requirements on the quality of salt. It is used as a raw material for making a large number of useful chemicals in industry such as sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, baking soda etc.

Storage: Should be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark location.

Standard: The performance is standard by National standards of the People's Republic of China GB/T6009-2003.
